I recently photographed an event at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming and met these three talented ladies.  I was immediately drawn to their table because the displays they had were very unique and visually stunning not to mention the amazing pieces of jewelry they had.  I found myself clicking away photo after photo.  I just had to post some photos that I took so that all you brides-to-be could take a look at some unique jewelry options for your special day!  I don’t know if they have a website but here are their names and contact information if you are interested in talking to them.

Meet Jason & Lori…..   This picture perfect couple are a photographers dream!  There’s nothing better than a beautiful couple saying their “I Do’s” with the Tetons in the background.  Jason and Lori were such fun to photograph.  A simple wedding next to the water at Schwabacher’s Landing (one of my favorite places).  Lori and I formed our plan for photos ahead of time to make things run smoothly.  I photographed a good portion of the family along with the groom before the ceremony to make it easier to get to her real goal……  Photos at Mormon Row!  Before the wedding day I had asked Lori “What vision do you have in your head for your wedding day?”  She had a vision!  She said “Think Jane Austan’s Pride & Prejudice”.  Her vail blowing in the wind…..  As soon as she told me that I knew this was a gal I was going to LOVE photographing because she had vision and imagination!  A little collaboration between the two of us and we came up with some amazing ideas and shots!  Thank you to Jason & Lori for choosing me to photograph their absolutely beautiful, picture perfect wedding!

On July 25th, 2009 I had the fortune of meeting both Jonathan and Fernanda and photographing their wedding.  It was an intimate gathering at the Wort Hotel and the ceremony will be one that remains in my mind for a long time to come.  During the ceremony a laptop was streaming video to Fernanda’s parents who were in Brazil and unable to attend the ceremony.  The bride had NO IDEA that her parents were getting to witness her as she made her vows to Jonathan.  I was told ahead of time that this little surprise was going to be in play so you bet your boots I was ready to capture the reaction when Fernanda turned around to see her parents had watched the wedding via a web cam.  What an absolute wonderful gift for the bride.  She was moved to tears and I was so taken in by Fernanda’s joy that I was wiping away a few tears myself!

Shannon and Nick married on June 16th, 2007 at Schwabacher’s Landing.  To this day they remain one of my most memorable couples who I’ve photographed.  They had a very small gathering of close friends who attended their ceremony by the water with the Tetons as a witness.  It was a very light-hearted ceremony that lasted only 10 minutes and then the couple really took the stage….  We did some posed shots with their attendants and then I requested private time with the Bride & Groom.  This let them relax and just enjoy each other.  There was no direction really given or needed because this couple was just picture perfect.  The entire time I was photographing them it was like I wasn’t even there.  That was the one thing I had asked them to do; pretend I’m not even here and they did just that!  I knew as I was clicking off shots that I had a really fun couple here who are adventurous and so I figured I’d see what I could talk them into….  I had a picture in my mind and it involved Nick standing in the stream with Shannon in his arms and the Tetons as the backdrop.  We did this shot last (just in case) and it turned out great!  They stayed clean and dry and I was wet and muddy by the end but it was all worth it!  Thank you Shannon & Nick for being such a fun couple!

What a fun couple!  Paden and Robert had their dream wedding at the base of the Tetons in the Chapel of Transfiguration just inside Grand Teton National Park.  We went into this wedding with a plan and it really paid off for us!  Knowing we were dealing with limited lighting inside the church along with an early evening wedding not to mention the fact that flashes are NOT allowed inside the chapel during the wedding; meant I was thinking about LIGHTING….  The bride and bride’s maids showed up early so that we could have a private photo session which was perfect and I highly recommend this option to other brides!  Taking some photos before hand can get you to the reception (where the real fun starts) much quicker.  I want to thank Paden and Robert for allowing me to photograph their special moments and for making me feel like I was a guest at their wedding.
